Phera is a three-shuttle weaving technique that interlocks the weft of the body of the fabric with the weft of the borders on both sides. This technique is used to create simple straight borders as well as intricate temple borders on saris. Due to its complexity, it requires two weavers to work together in sync. The term "Phera," which means "turn around," refers to the shuttle turning at the point where the two wefts intersect.

As this product is handwoven, slight variations in color, texture, and design may occur, adding to its unique charm and authenticity.

The Sienna Brown body of this hand woven Kosa silk saree is adorned by a geometric motif, inspired by the layout of traditional homes in Chhattisgarh. While the pallu represents the colonnade found in traditional verandas, the geometric overlay of the body is broken by a delicate weft motif , woven using the Khapa technique
