Kosa Silk Cushion Covers

Kosa silk is made in Chhattisgarh, India. It is woven by traditional weaver communities using pit looms, making each saree entirely handmade.

Kosa silk should ideally be dry cleaned to preserve its natural texture and sheen. If washing at home is necessary, use cold water only, avoid harsh detergents, and do not wring or scrub the fabric. Dry it in shade to prevent colour fading.

Kosa silk has a distinct slightly coarse texture with a natural golden or honey-toned sheen. It is breathable, lightweight, and feels firm initially but softens with use. Authentic Kosa silk often shows natural irregularities in the weave, unlike machine-made fabrics.
